GRIMES, Laura Lavina Grimes - Putnam

Mrs. Laura Lavina Grimes, died at her home in Russellville, Monday morning. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the residence. She was born in Putnam Co., June 16, 1864. She was the daughter of Augusta Grimes, she married in 1851 to John Grimes, whose death occured in 1934. Those surviving are: a Brother, Wallace Lenard Grimes of Russellville, a sister, Mrs. Ella Spencer of Pittsburg, Kansas; a son D.A. Grimes of Russellville, a grandson Lenard Grimes of Frankfort and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Laura Hunt also of Frankfort.
